here’s something i’ve devoted an unreasonably large amount of time to think about. is there a necessary dichotomy to be drawn between bros and hipsters? or are they independent social categories? i used to assume they were opposite ends of some social-category spectrum, but upon further review, I see no evidence to support this. maybe they’re even positively correlated. of course, there are probably as many definitions of bros and hipsters as there are bros and hipsters, so this makes the topic a bit fuzzier. your thoughts please.
